Yersinia kristensenii
Definition 1
A species of facultatively anaerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacteria in the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is motile, positive for urease, pyrazinamidase, and ornithine decarboxylase and negative for oxidase. It is able to ferment cellobiose, sorbose, sorbitol, and trehalose but not sucrose, rhamnose, raffinose, or melibiose. Y. kristensenii is found in many environments and is not known to be a human pathogen. (NCI Thesaurus)
