    Yttrium Y-90 Clivatuzumab Tetraxetan

    Definition 1

A radioimmunoconjugate comprised of the humanized monoclonal antibody clivatuzumab, directed against the pancreatic cancer antigen MUC1, that is conjugated to the chelating agent tetraxetan and radiolabeled with the beta-emitting radioisotope Yttrium Y 90. Yttrium Y 90 clivatuzumab tetraxetan binds to tumor cells expressing MUC1 antigen, thereby selectively delivering a cytotoxic dose of beta radiation. (NCI Thesaurus)

    Definition 2

A substance being studied in the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer. HuPAM4 is a monoclonal antibody that can locate and bind to pancreatic cancer cells. It is linked to a radioactive substance called yttrium Y90, which may help kill cancer cells. Yttrium Y 90 DOTA monoclonal antibody HuPAM4 is a type of radioimmunoconjugate. (NCI Dictionary)
