    ZMYM2 wt Allele

    Human ZMYM2 wild-type allele is located within 13q11-q12 and is approximately 133 kb in length. This allele, which encodes zinc finger MYM-type protein 2, is involved in the regulation of transcription. A chromosomal translocation t(8;13)(p11;q12) of the gene and the FGFR1 gene is associated with stem cell leukemia lymphoma syndrome. (NCI Thesaurus)
