अज्झत्तानिच्चातीतानागतसुत्त
Ajjhattāniccātītānāgatasutta
The Interior as Impermanent in the Three Times
“चक्खुं, भिक्खवे, अनिच्चं अतीतानागतं; को पन वादो पच्चुप्पन्नस्स।
“Cakkhuṁ, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ atītānāgataṁ; ko pana vādo paccuppannassa.
“Bhikkhus, the eye of the past and future is impermanent, let alone the present.
एवं पस्सं, भिक्खवे, सुतवा अरियसावको अतीतस्मिं चक्खुस्मिं अनपेक्खो होति; अनागतं चक्खुं नाभिनन्दति; पच्चुप्पन्नस्स चक्खुस्स निब्बिदाय विरागाय निरोधाय पटिपन्नो होति।
Evaṁ passaṁ, bhikkhave, sutavā ariyasāvako atītasmiṁ cakkhusmiṁ anapekkho hoti; anāgataṁ cakkhuṁ nābhinandati; paccuppannassa cakkhussa nibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya paṭipanno hoti.
Seeing this, a learned noble disciple doesn’t worry about the eye of the past, they don’t look forward to enjoying the eye in the future, and they practice for disillusionment, dispassion, and cessation regarding the eye in the present.
सोतं अनिच्चं … घानं अनिच्चं … जिव्हा अनिच्चा अतीतानागता; को पन वादो पच्चुप्पन्नाय। एवं पस्सं, भिक्खवे, सुतवा अरियसावको अतीताय जिव्हाय अनपेक्खो होति; अनागतं जिव्हं नाभिनन्दति; पच्चुप्पन्नाय जिव्हाय निब्बिदाय विरागाय निरोधाय पटिपन्नो होति। कायो अनिच्चो …पे… मनो अनिच्चो अतीतानागतो; को पन वादो पच्चुप्पन्नस्स।
Sotaṁ aniccaṁ … ghānaṁ aniccaṁ … jivhā aniccā atītānāgatā; ko pana vādo paccuppannāya. Evaṁ passaṁ, bhikkhave, sutavā ariyasāvako atītāya jivhāya anapekkho hoti; anāgataṁ jivhaṁ nābhinandati; paccuppannāya jivhāya nibbidāya virāgāya nirodhāya paṭipanno hoti. Kāyo anicco …pe… mano anicco atītānāgato; ko pana vādo paccuppannassa.
The ear … nose … tongue … body … mind of the past and future is impermanent, let alone the present.
एवं पस्सं, भिक्खवे, सुतवा अरियसावको अतीतस्मिं मनस्मिं अनपेक्खो होति; अनागतं मनं नाभिनन्दति; पच्चुप्पन्नस्स मनस्स निब्बिदाय विरागाय निरोधाय पटिपन्नो होती”ति।

Seeing this, a learned noble disciple doesn’t worry about the mind of the past, they don’t look forward to enjoying the mind in the future, and they practice for disillusionment, dispassion, and cessation regarding the mind in the present.”
