सावत्थिनिदानं।

At Sāvatthī.
“मिच्छापटिपन्नञ्च वो, भिक्खवे, देसेस्सामि, सम्मापटिपन्नञ्च। तं सुणाथ।
“Micchāpaṭipannañca vo, bhikkhave, desessāmi, sammāpaṭipannañca. Taṁ suṇātha.
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you one practicing wrongly and one practicing rightly. Listen …
कतमो च, भिक्खवे, मिच्छापटिपन्नो? इध, भिक्खवे, एकच्चो मिच्छादिट्ठिको होति …पे… मिच्छासमाधि—अयं वुच्चति, भिक्खवे, मिच्छापटिपन्नो।
Katamo ca, bhikkhave, micchāpaṭipanno? Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco micchādiṭṭhiko hoti …pe… micchāsamādhi—ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, micchāpaṭipanno.
And who is practicing wrongly? It’s someone who has wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, and wrong immersion. This is called one practicing wrongly.
कतमो च, भिक्खवे, सम्मापटिपन्नो? इध, भिक्खवे, एकच्चो सम्मादिट्ठिको होति …पे… सम्मासमाधि—अयं वुच्चति, भिक्खवे, सम्मापटिपन्नो”ति।
Katamo ca, bhikkhave, sammāpaṭipanno? Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco sammādiṭṭhiko hoti …pe… sammāsamādhi—ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, sammāpaṭipanno”ti.
And who is practicing rightly? It’s someone who has right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right immersion. This is called one practicing rightly.”
