Dying as Ghosts and Reborn as Humans
… “एवमेव खो, भिक्खवे, अप्पका ते सत्ता ये पेत्तिविसया चुता मनुस्सेसु पच्चाजायन्ति; अथ खो एतेव बहुतरा सत्ता ये पेत्तिविसया चुता निरये पच्चाजायन्ति …पे… तिरच्छानयोनिया पच्चाजायन्ति …पे… पेत्तिविसये पच्चाजायन्ति …पे…।
… “Evameva kho, bhikkhave, appakā te sattā ye pettivisayā cutā manussesu paccājāyanti; atha kho eteva bahutarā sattā ye pettivisayā cutā niraye paccājāyanti …pe… tiracchānayoniyā paccājāyanti …pe… pettivisaye paccājāyanti …pe….
“… the sentient beings who die as ghosts and are reborn as humans are few, while those who die as ghosts and are reborn in hell, or the animal realm, or the ghost realm are many.”
