“समाधिं, भिक्खवे, भावेथ। समाहितो, भिक्खवे, भिक्खु यथाभूतं पजानाति। किञ्च यथाभूतं पजानाति?
“Samādhiṁ, bhikkhave, bhāvetha. Samāhito, bhikkhave, bhikkhu yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti. Kiñca yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti?
“Bhikkhus, develop immersion. A bhikkhu who has immersion truly understands. What do they truly understand?
‘चक्खु अनिच्चन्ऽति यथाभूतं पजानाति; ‘रूपा अनिच्चाऽति यथाभूतं पजानाति; ‘चक्खुविञ्ञाणं अनिच्चन्ऽति यथाभूतं पजानाति; ‘चक्खुसम्फस्सो अनिच्चोऽति यथाभूतं पजानाति। ‘यम्पिदं चक्खुसम्फस्सपच्चया उप्पज्जति वेदयितं सुखं वा दुक्खं वा अदुक्खमसुखं वा तम्पि अनिच्चन्ऽति यथाभूतं पजानाति …पे…
‘Cakkhu aniccan’ti yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti; ‘rūpā aniccā’ti yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti; ‘cakkhuviññāṇaṁ aniccan’ti yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti; ‘cakkhusamphasso anicco’ti yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti. ‘Yampidaṁ cakkhusamphassapaccayā uppajjati vedayitaṁ sukhaṁ vā dukkhaṁ vā adukkhamasukhaṁ vā tampi aniccan’ti yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti …pe…
They truly understand that the eye is impermanent. They truly understand that sights … eye consciousness … eye contact … the pleasant, painful, or neutral feeling that arises conditioned by eye contact is impermanent. …
‘मनो अनिच्चन्ऽति यथाभूतं पजानाति। धम्मा … मनोविञ्ञाणं … मनोसम्फस्सो … ‘यम्पिदं मनोसम्फस्सपच्चया उप्पज्जति वेदयितं सुखं वा दुक्खं वा अदुक्खमसुखं वा तम्पि अनिच्चन्ऽति यथाभूतं पजानाति।
‘mano aniccan’ti yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti. Dhammā … manoviññāṇaṁ … manosamphasso … ‘yampidaṁ manosamphassapaccayā uppajjati vedayitaṁ sukhaṁ vā dukkhaṁ vā adukkhamasukhaṁ vā tampi aniccan’ti yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti.
They truly understand that the mind is impermanent. They truly understand that thoughts … mind consciousness … mind contact … the pleasant, painful, or neutral feeling that arises conditioned by mind contact is impermanent.
समाधिं, भिक्खवे, भावेथ। समाहितो, भिक्खवे, भिक्खु यथाभूतं पजानाती”ति।
