    “पञ्चिमे, भिक्खवे, उपादानक्खन्धा। कतमे पञ्च? सेय्यथिदं—रूपुपादानक्खन्धो …पे… विञ्ञाणुपादानक्खन्धो।

    “Pañcime, bhikkhave, upādānakkhandhā. Katame pañca? Seyyathidaṁ—rūpupādānakkhandho …pe… viññāṇupādānakkhandho.

    “Bhikkhus, there are these five grasping aggregates. What five? That is, the grasping aggregates of form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness.

    ये हि केचि, भिक्खवे, समणा वा ब्राह्मणा वा इमेसं पञ्चन्नं उपादानक्खन्धानं अस्सादञ्च आदीनवञ्च निस्सरणञ्च यथाभूतं नप्पजानन्ति …पे…

    पजानन्ति, सयं अभिञ्ञा सच्छिकत्वा उपसम्पज्ज विहरन्ती”ति।
