    “छयिमानि, भिक्खवे, इन्द्रियानि। कतमानि छ? चक्खुन्द्रियं, सोतिन्द्रियं, घानिन्द्रियं, जिव्हिन्द्रियं, कायिन्द्रियं, मनिन्द्रियं—इमानि खो, भिक्खवे, छ इन्द्रियानी”ति।

    “Chayimāni, bhikkhave, indriyāni. Katamāni cha? Cakkhundriyaṁ, sotindriyaṁ, ghānindriyaṁ, jivhindriyaṁ, kāyindriyaṁ, manindriyaṁ—imāni kho, bhikkhave, cha indriyānī”ti.

    “Bhikkhus, there are these six faculties. What six? The faculties of the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. These are the six faculties.”

    पञ्चमं।
