Abstinence Syndrome
A syndrome which occurs following withdrawal of an abused substance. Clinical signs vary depending on the substance that was abused and may include irritability, trembling and vomiting. The clinical course depends on the ability to manage the withdrawal symptoms. (NCI Thesaurus)
