Acidaminococcus fermentans
Definition 1
A species of anaerobic, Gram negative, diplococci shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Firmicutes. This bacteria is non motile, catalase and oxidase negative, does not reduce nitrate and does not ferment glucose. The pathogenicity of A. fermentans is unclear although it has been isolated from cervical vaginal swabs. (NCI Thesaurus)
