Benign Pineal Region Neoplasm
A benign growth of the cells that comprise the pineal gland. Despite benign histology, symptoms can be produced due to the location: increased intracranial pressure, endocrine abnormalities, cerebellar and/or brainstem compression. The latter can produce a constellation of symptoms known as Parinaud's syndrome. (NCI Thesaurus)
