Bezafibrate
An agonist of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARalpha) with antilipidemic activity. Bezafibrate decreases triglyceride levels, increases high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol levels, and decreases total and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels. (NCI Thesaurus)
