Clear Cell-Sugar-Tumor of the Lung
A rare benign mesenchymal lung tumor arising from perivascular cells with epithelioid differentiation. It is composed of round or oval cells with abundant clear or eosinophilic cytoplasm and distinct cell borders. The vast majority of patients are asymptomatic and the tumors are discovered incidentally. Excision is curative. (NCI Thesaurus)
