Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
A syndrome that can develop in infants whose mothers consumed alcohol during pregnancy. Manifestations of this syndrome include low birth weight, failure to thrive, developmental defects, organ dysfunction, mental deficiencies, behavioral problems and poor motor coordination. (NCI Thesaurus)
