Ground Glass Hepatocyte
An abnormally large hepatocyte with eosinophilic or pale, glassy cytoplasm and peripherally displaced nucleus. This appearance is due to hyperplasia of the smooth endoplasmic reticulum. (NCI Thesaurus)
