Definition 1
The rate at which iothalamate is removed or cleared from the whole or part of the body. (NCI Thesaurus)

A measurement of the volume of serum or plasma that would be cleared of iothalamate by excretion of urine for a specified unit of time (e.g. one minute). (NCI Thesaurus/CDISC)
