    Laminin

    Definition 1

    A family of basement membrane extracellular basement proteins. Each molecule is composed of 3 nonidentical chains which are arranged in a cross-shaped structure. There are at least 5 alpha, 4 beta, and 3 gamma laminin genes. (NCI Thesaurus)
