Lymphocyte Depleted Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma
A diffuse form of classical Hodgkin lymphoma which is rich in Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg cells and/or depleted in non-neoplastic lymphocytes. Historically, the clinical course of this type of Hodgkin lymphoma was aggressive. With current therapy, the course is comparable to patients with other subtypes of classical Hodgkin lymphoma. Most patients present with advanced stage disease (Stage III or IV) and B-symptoms. (NCI Thesaurus/WHO)
