    Lymphocytic Thyroiditis

    An inflammatory disorder that affects the thyroid gland. It is characterized by the infiltration of the thyroid parenchyma by lymphocytes. It includes Hashimoto thyroiditis and subacute lymphocytic thyroiditis. (NCI Thesaurus)
