    Metaplastic Thymoma

    A rare type of well circumscribed or encapsulated thymoma with a biphasic architecture, consisting of epithelial cell islands and bundles of spindle cells. The vast majority of reported cases had a benign clinical course. -- 2005 (NCI Thesaurus)
