Risedronate Sodium
Definition 1
The sodium salt of risedronic acid, a synthetic pyridinyl bisphosphonate. Risedronic acid binds to hydroxyapatite crystals in bone and inhibits osteoclast-dependent bone resorption. (NCI Thesaurus)
