Royal Jelly
A honey bee secretion that is used in the nutrition of larvae and to stimulate development of adult queens. It contains B-complex vitamins such as pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), amino acids, minerals, enzymes, monosaccharides and 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid (10-HDA). Royal jelly has been shown to have antibacterial and immunomodulatory activities. (NCI Thesaurus)
